During a university project in cooperation with the company Bahlsen, I had the chance to create a new packaging concept for the Leibniz Butterkeks. I designed a collapsible box which never takes more space than needed and thereby is especially practical for a snack on the go.
Bahlsen bought the concept and is now the holder of rights.
A couple of sketches illustrating the thought process behind the design.

The diagonal perforations allow the tearing off of the corners. The remaining part can be turned down through prepared foldings. This process can be repeated three times. Stickers at the base of each fold allow for the folded packaging to be fixed into place over the opening of the package; acting as a lid and enabling reclosability at the four different packaging heights.
